ST. CLOUD (4/28/16) – To avoid crowded and pricey parking lots, concert-goers can take Northstar to Minneapolis. The Northstar Link bus service from St. Cloud and Becker is timed to connect with Northstar Line trains at the Big Lake Station for the upcoming Paul McCartney and Zac Brown performances.
Save money by purchasing a Northstar Family Pass, which is valid for roundtrip rides for 2 adults and up to 3 kids (ages 6-17) OR seniors (ages 65+). Children five and under ride free! Round trip Northstar Passes provide unlimited rides on buses and light rail the day the pass is purchased. Cost is $20 Roundtrip from St. Cloud, Becker or Big Lake. Paul McCartney on May 4 and 5: Northstar Link will depart the Metro Bus Transit Center at 3:33 pm, St. Cloud State University (SCSU) Miller Center at 4:05 pm, East St. Cloud Parking and Ride at 4:15 pm and Becker Park and Ride at 4:35 pm. It is scheduled to arrive in Big Lake at 4:55 pm to meet the 5:03 pm train. The train
is scheduled to arrive at Target Field at 5:55 pm where it connects to the METRO system. Take the Green Line to the Warehouse Hennepin Ave Station (first stop) and walk .18 miles SE to Target Center, where the concert is scheduled to start at 7 pm. Link to Family Pass.
Zac Brown on May 28: Northstar Link will depart the Metro Bus Transit Center at 1:45 pm, SCSU Miller Center at 1:55 pm, East St. Cloud Parking and Ride Lot at 2:05 pm and Becker Park and Ride at 2:25 pm. It is scheduled to arrive in Big Lake at 2:45 pm to meet the 3:03 pm train. The train is scheduled to arrive at Target Field at 3:55 pm, where the concert is scheduled to start at 5 pm. After the concerts: A northbound train will leave Target Field 30 minutes after the event ends and the Northstar Link bus will meet the train when it arrives in Big Lake.
